Gelande Quaffing Competition

Welcome to the 1st edition of the Gelande Quaffing Competition – Verbeir edition.

What is Gelande Quaffing?
Teams of 4 go up against eachother to finish their beers via sliding them along a table and catching them in process.

The ‘pitcher’ slides a beer down a table, which is caught by the ‘quaffer’ who must then ‘quaff’ (drink quickly) the beer before the next beer can be thrown down the table.

Teams will be timed on how long it takes them to quaff 12 half-pints of beer.

Basic Rules:

• 4 people per team only – NO SUBSTITUTES

• Quaffer must be 2 feet from the edge of the table.

• Must rotate quaffer and pitcher every pitch.

• You CANNOT pitch until the beer is drunk and the mug touches the table again.

• You must QUAFF the beer – not wear it!

• No throwing up.
