Book your table in advance!

Yes, it’s great to be spontaneous, but spontinaity won’t be your friend as you hungrily look through the window of packed restaurants. Most places take telephone bookings, or have an online booking system. Some may have two sittings during the evening. Check when you book so you don’t get surprised by being asked to leave your table as your just settling into your digestif.
